naturally mad pianos

Put down that box of oily rags, a royal flush has never inaugurated a good BBQ sauce.

Round II of the Nickesldorf Konfrontationen 2007 Recap kicks off tonite 21:00-22:30 PST www.killradio.org

I'll be joined by one of my attendant Blue Guerillas for tonite's program, as we start where we left off a couple weeks ago: Saturday afternoon at the Kleylehof with Pendler.

I've got a bunch of special stuff picked out by
Johannes Bauer
Mike Cooper
New Directions in Appalachian Music
Huntsvillians
and of course those fellas in the Townhouse Quartet - Sten Sandell
         Ingebrigt HÃ¥ker-Flaten,
                         Paal Nilssen-Love
and the inestimable Evan Parker

Even if you think you've done it all - steroids, uppers, downers, coke, poppers, Oprah - this good music will make them all pale

Inside the Tingle Jangle

Last week we were semi-bad boys. We said we were going to play only Yugoslovenian music from one record store, and we played some Italian stuff too. And even some Brazilian hip-hop at one point.
But the thing that mattered was that we did limit ourselves to music that we found in Ljubjana.
And Italy's a neighbor anyway.

The thing is, this week's episode of The Unwrinkled Ear will exclusively feature non-yugoslovenian music and non-konfrontationen related musics that were found in Austria and Slovenia.

This music will be broadcast from 21:00-23:00 Thursday night Hollywood time on www.killradio.org

We're going to hear radio work (more like spiele) from Ferdinand Kriwet
Dudu Pukwana in a Johnny Dyani Quartet
OKWESS International featuring saratong inventor Roger Lendu
Mediteranean Honky Tonk from Carlo Actis Dato's 2002 band
Ernst Jandl's mouth
